SecondBook Service Use Terms

SecondBook helps users find books, publish listings, contact sellers, authors and support, and use local library and E-BOOK features within the modes currently available in the service.

Operator / Responsible Party

The 2ndBook service is provided by Ilnur Stybayev, an independent individual developer (not a legal entity). 2ndBook is a non-commercial tool that lets users find and contact each other directly. The operator is not a party to any transaction between users, does not hold, transfer or retain funds, and charges no commission. Any purchase, sale or exchange happens directly between users and outside the operator's responsibility. Data protection contact: support@secondbook.kz.

1. Basic rules

• Publish accurate information about books, condition, price and handover terms.
• Do not publish pirated, prohibited, misleading or third-party-rights-infringing content.
• Treat other users respectfully and never share secret codes, passwords or payment data in chat.
• If a feature is marked as beta, labs or unavailable, it may work with limitations or be hidden in your environment.

2. Deals and payments

SecondBook provides a technical platform for discovery and user contact. Until a real payment provider is launched, payments, wallet and checkout are not full payment services and must not be presented as available to real users.

3. E-BOOK and files

A locally added book should remain readable locally. Sync, server storage and device transfer are additive features and may require separate consent.
